MetroRegion WEATHER: NWS 'Flood Watch' South - East



T
he National Weather Service offices in Pleasant Hill/K.C. and Springfield MO have issued Flood Watches for parts of eastern Kansas- western into central Missouri through tonight.


A storm system will rain on us as well as the watch areas today and tonight- with the rain falling on soils saturated from last weekends' melted 5 to 10-inch snowfall.


Another storm system late Saturday into Sunday could make flood conditions even worse in some of these same areas.


The following cities and counties in Kansas and Missouri are in these Flood Watches:
