The National Weather Service offices in Pleasant Hill/K.C. and Springfield MO have issued Flood Watches for parts of eastern Kansas- western into central Missouri through tonight.
A storm system will rain on us as well as the watch areas today and tonight- with the rain falling on soils saturated from last weekends' melted 5 to 10-inch snowfall.
Another storm system late Saturday into Sunday could make flood conditions even worse in some of these same areas.
