BREAKING: "Large Tornado" in Southwestern Indiana

This is the same long-track storm that produced a strong tornado in extreme east-southeastern Missouri.

A tornado formed northwest of Perryville MO shortly before 8 pm.

One people was killed in that area with a reported 10 injured in the Perryville vicinity.

The same or another tornado formed by this supercell thunderstorm produced damage in Illinois: Ava- Vergennes- Elkville -Christopher and Crossville to name a few towns reporting as of midnight Wednesday morning.

The number of injured in southern Illinois yet unknown.

Just after 10:30 pm CST- law officers near Fort Branch IN (north of Evansville) report "a large- maybe F-4 or F-5 with a smaller snake-tornado going around it" and was about to strike that town.

Other crews were checking "the 9-mile marker of I-64" where "vehicles were blown off the roadway" when the tornado crossed that freeway.

Units on scene by 10:45 pm said this was only a minor-injury vehicle wreck.

There were numerous other residences- trees and power poles reported down from north of Poseyville to Fort Branch IN..

Authorities were searching for the 3 occupants of a mobile home in that area. 

They were later located and accounted for.

At least 4 injuries- mostly minor- reported as of midnight..

Near Crossville IL about 25 miles west- searchers were trying to find the occupant of a tornado-destroyed home.

The man's wife was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

That man's body was found early Wednesday- bringing the storm total deaths to four (all but one in Illinois).

Damage was also reported in Ireland IN.

The track of this storm is frighteningly similar to the deadly "Tri-State Tornado" on March 18 1925. 

BREAKING: Large Tornado- Possible Fatalities Near Ottawa IL

The tornado moved east along the Illinois River near Peru and Ottawa.

Parts of Ottawa IL south of the river were hard hit around 4:45 pm CST Tuesday afternoon..

Radio reports are of "a large wedge (shaped) tornado" near Ottawa- and a tree has apparently fallen either on a house or a vehicle in or near Ottawa- with "CPR in-progress" on one victim- "the other (victim) possibly DOA."

The Times
 online in Ottawa confirmed the fatality- "1 serious injury" and other unknown-number of non-serious injured.

The other man injured by that falling tree died Wednesday- according to CBS-2 in Chicago.

At 5:10 pm- a tornado was reported in Marseilles IL with "damage to buildings" there.

At 5:25 pm- there is a mutual-aid "all-call" for tornado damage in the Ottawa IL area.. 

Numerous ambulances from outside agencies have been requested.

At 5:44 pm- a "3rd-alarm for a natural disaster" has been sounded for the Ottawa IL area- "ambulances only."

The town of Naplate IL was also struck- with more than "a half-dozen houses damaged" according to a spotter there.

BREAKING: Critical Injuries to South Kansas City MO Shooting Victim

The shooting occurred around 1:35 pm Monday afternoon in the area of 82nd Street and Highland.

A person was shot- then driven by another to Research Medical Center.

An officer at Research said the "victim's in critical condition" at 1:47 pm..

Preliminary suspect info from Metro Zone police say the suspects were "3 black males" who "left eastbound on 82nd Street from Paseo" in "a red Chevy Impala.
