BREAKING: Man Critically-Injured in South-Central KC MO Shooting

The incident was reported by public service radio at 5:55 pm at an apartment in the 3100 block of East 49th Street.

KCFD-EMS "Medic 29" transported "a 58-year-old male" who was shot in the chest and in critical condition to a nearby medical trauma center.

Later updates by media and police say this victim later died of his wound and that this occurred as a result of an armed residence robbery.

Teen Shot in Central Kansas City MO

A "15-year-old male" is in serious but non life-threatening condition tonight after he had been shot "while sitting in his driveway."

The shooting occurred around 8:05 pm in the 3800 block of College.

No suspect information was heard.

BREAKING: "Sniper" Being Sought in Northern Jackson County MO

A Kansas City MO police helicopter responded at 7:09 pm Tuesday evening to a reported "man with a gun" also reported in one radio transmission as "a sniper" in the 23200 block of East U.S. 24 highway.

This is about one-half mile west of Fort Osage High school.

At 7:46 pm- the "suspect" reportedly "walked out" of a structure there and was taken "in custody" of police.

There are no other details- other than a large law enforcement presence at a rural location there.

BREAKING: One Dead- Cop Shot in Kansas City Northland

Word came down at 10:31 pm Sunday night that an "officer needs assistance- officer down (shot) at Vivion Road and U.S. 169" in that far little sliver of southwestern Gladstone MO..

Within minutes the information was somewhat clarified to say that "an officer and a suspect" was shot at the location. 

At 10:41 pm- reports from the scene are that there is one DOA.

At 10:47 pm- Gladstone EMS transported "a 33-year-old male police officer who was shot in the hand" and in non-serious condition.

At 10:52 pm- another Gladstone EMS unit transported "a 34-year-old male who was involved in a shoot-out but not shot" to the same Northland medical trauma center..
