Two were injured- a child included- in a reported shooting on East 23rd Street near Manchester Avenue late Saturday afternoon.
Police are saying that a disturbance at nearby Blue Valley Park resulted in the shooting.
A male child was transported to a hospital by KCFD-EMS with non-serious injuries and was not shot.
The victim who was shot was reported by KCFD-EMS as "a 20-year-old male shot twice in the right thigh."
Apparently- the suspect also tried to "run over" that victim with a vehicle.
The male's injuries were serious- but not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are looking for "a a black Acura TZ" driven by "a Hispanic male- last seen southbound on I-435" from 23rd Street.
