A tornadic thunderstorm supercell took a long track northeastward across the southern Chicagoland suburbs Saturday afternoon.

No deaths have yet been reported with around a dozen mostly minor injuries so far- according to FOX News-Chicago reports.
There is apparently a long track of varying damage from southwest of Chicago clear to Lake Michigan near Hammond-Indiana- with substantial damage in a few far southside suburbs.
At least a half-dozen homes heavily damaged or destroyed throughout the affected area- along with at least one apartment complex heavily-damaged in Richton Park.
A serious rain/flood threat will exist overnight from north-central Kansas east-northeastward through east & southeastern Nebraska across Iowa into Wisconsin & northern Illinois.
This same threat will shift about 100 miles southward on Sunday night.
