Donald Trump and All Other Birther-Doubters: Read This Associated Press Story


Some doubt the truth even if it strikes them up-side their head.

Those so-called "birthers-" those who do NOT believe President Obama is an American-born citizen- may well also believe in the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny.


So to those of you who do not believe Barrack Obama is an American-born citizen- PLEASE read this Associated Press story regarding the fact that President Obama IS an American-born citizen.


Well- no doubt some will even dismiss this truth as a product of the American so-called "liberal" news media.

Oh- be on the lookout for your beloved Easter Bunny tomorrow....

Video Shows Near Panic Inside St. Louis-Lambert Airport Terminal as Tornado Strikes

As first reported locally here at CSW Friday night- a tornado struck St. Louis's Lambert airport (STL).

This new video taken by a passenger inside one of the STL terminals shows the storm gathering strength outside the gate-side windows and people (wrongly) gathering next to them to watch the storm.

A near-panic ensues as airport authorities yell at the passengers to take cover.

Five were injured at STL- reported none seriously- but the airport is closed until further notice.

CSW BREAKING: Tornado in Metro St. Louis

At 8:13 p.m.- a tornado is reportedly on the ground near Lambert-St. Louis airport- reported by an FAA employee in the STL airport tower- according to a live Web broadcast of KMOV-TV in St. Louis...



Damage has been reported in Concourse A and C- the latter lost it's roof- with windows shattered as well as "minor injuries" at STL airport.



As of 10 p.m.- KMOV-TV4 News reports "planes with passengers on them" still "sitting on the tarmac" on the runway side of the damaged terminals.



There was one unconfirmed report of one of those planes that was "full of passengers was picked up 30 feet and dropped back down to the ground" by the tornado.



"Four" people at STL airport have been transported to hospitals and one person was treated by EMS on the scene and released- KMOV reports "no serious injuries" either at the airport or in damaged north St. Louis suburbs.


The image is of a transportation van that has been blown to the edge of an elevated parking structure at STL.



I-270 is reportedly closed in at least one location near Lambert-St. Louis airport due to storm damage and power lines down across both directions of travel.



At 9:10 p.m.- KMOV-TV has reported that Lambert-STL airport is "closed-" with many flight diverted to Kansas City International airport.

The St. Louis airport is to remained closed for a yet undetermined amount of time while damage assessment and cleanup takes place.



Other damage has been reported in northwestern St. Louis suburbs.


At 8:25 p.m.- there were reports of tornado damage in Hazelwood- signs- trees and a cell tower down on I-70.


Several homes received heavy damage in the Bridgeton area near STL airport.

At 8:34 p.m.- there was an official report of "semi trucks standing on end" and "damage to a house in St. Ann."

Shortly before 9 p.m.- "80,000 people are without (electrical) power" in Metro St. Louis- according to a live broadcast on KMOV-TV.

CSW BREAKING: Aircraft Emergency Declared at K.C.I. Airport

At 7:25 a.m. Friday morning- 5 companies of the KC-MO Fire department were sent to stand-by with KCI airport fire and rescue companies on a reported aircraft emergency.

The plane is reported by airport fire crews as a "twin-engine" aircraft with "one engine out."

There are reported to be 2 people on the crippled aircraft.


At 7:38 a.m.- the aircraft has reportedly landed without incident at KCI..

CSW WEATHER: Severe Tstm Watch No. 177 Until 9 a.m.- KS-MO


Metro Kansas City- Topeka- Lawrence and St. Joseph are among the cities included in this watch...



Severe storms are currently just to the west of Metro K.C.- with severe tstm warnings in northwest areas- Leavenworth & Platte counties.



Severe Tstm Watch No. 177 is valid until 9 a.m. this Friday morning.


Sometime around 7 a.m.- the severe thunderstorm watch was cancelled by the NWS..




Once this severe weather goes by us- that should be the end of the severe tstm risk until at least late Saturday.

CSW WEATHER: Severe Storm Watch No. 175- KS-MO-OK-AR

Severe Thunderstorm Watch No. 175 is valid until 10 p.m. this Thursday night for extreme southeast through southwestern portions of MetroRegion Kansas City.


Some cities in this watch are Clinton- Nevada MO and Fort Scott KS..


The watch covers southwest MO- extreme east & southeast KS as well as western AR and eastern OK..


Showers and thunderstorms are currently in Metro Kansas City and southward.

CSW WEATHER: Several Rounds of Severe Storms- Heavy Rains- Over Central States Next 5 Days

Portions of the American Central States- including Metro and MetroRegion Kansas City- are forecast to have off and on periods of storms- some severe- as well as heavy rainfalls over about the next 5 days.


Refer to the new National Weather Service's (NWS) Storm Prediction Center (SPC) graphics (Day 1: now through 7am Friday morning- Day 2: 7am Friday till 7am Saturday).


Metro Kansas City as well as portions of our MetroRegion are forecasted to possibly receive severe thunderstorms (tstms) later tonight and Friday- with additional chances late Sunday into mid next week.



Locally- the severe weather will mostly be large hail- but there is a possibility of tornadoes in tomorrow's (Friday) storms.



In addition- there's the risk of heavy rainfalls over the region with these storms- leading to possible flooding issues by at least next Tuesday


The latest 5-Day precipitation total forecast calls for more than 11-inches by mid next week in southwestern Missouri!

As always- CSW will be on top of ANY severe weather locally- as well as ANY flooding issues that may arise in this very active spring weather pattern that shows no immediate signs of abating soon.

CSW BREAKING: Shooting on Truman Road on KC-MO's East Side

KC-MO Fire department EMS unit 24 reports that "a 22-year-old female" suffered a "single gunshot to her lower back- with no exit wound" in a shooting that was reported to emergency services around 11:21 a.m. Thursday morning.


The incident occurred on the street at Truman Road & Belmont according to police who were searching for suspect(s) who fired at least 7 shots at the woman who was "walking along the street" there.


The victim's injuries were serious- but sounded to be not immediately life-threatening.


Shortly after noon- another person showed up at the East Patrol Zone police station to report their "car windows" had been "shot-out" during the shooting.

This person wasn't injured.

Topeka Group To Picket Branson Concert



That bunch from that so-called "church" in Topeka (you know who I'm talking about) is reported to be protesting a Charlie Daniels concert in Branson on April 28- according to the BRANSON TRI-LAKES NEWS site on-line.


I'll be interesting to see how folks deep in the "Bible Belt" deal with this defective buckle....

CSW BREAKING: Independence MO Crash Involves A School Bus

The wreck was reported at 7:34 a.m.- reportedly between "a car and a school bus" at 39th Street and Lee's Summit Road in Independence.

There are reportedly school kids on the bus- but how many and any extent of injuries are yet unknown.

Two EMS units are on-scene along with the IFD..

Young Man Seriously Injured in Lawrence KS Street Robbery


A 19-year-old male suffered serious injuries when he was beaten and robbed on a Lawrence street early Sunday morning.


The incident occurred around 2 a.m. at 11th Street and Indiana.

There was no further suspect information other than "several males" who accosted- beat and robbed the victim- leaving him with head and other injuries.


Lawrence police are investigating....

KC-KS Police Officers Slightly Injured in Speedway-area Disturbance


At least 2 police officers and 2 civilians were slightly injured and at least 10 people were arrested in a large melee early Sunday morning at a Legends shopping center establishment.


This all went down around 1:20 a.m. at Wild Bill's Legendary Steakhouse and Saloon-  1843 Village West Parkway across from the Kansas Speedway.


A large disturbance started there- then moved to a nearby parking garage.


Officers from throughout Kansas City KS responded to assist officers who were under attack.

The 2 officers were "scratched" by assailants- and at least 2 civilians involved in the brawl got hurt- but all refused transport by ambulance.


Ten were reportedly arrested.

Two Dead in 2 KC-MO Traffic Crashes

Two people are dead in separate traffic crashes that occurred in Kansas City MO Sunday morning.


Police were following and trying to stop a white Chevrolet containing 4 people near 39th Street and Main around 12:25 a.m..


The white Chevy was reportedly being driven erratically- going the wrong way on one-way streets and almost hitting other vehicles when police were alerted.


The Chevy's driver took off east on 39th Street with Center Zone patrol officers not far behind when- at 12:27 a.m.- the Chevy "clipped a parked car and rolled over."


One of the Chevy's occupants died at the scene- the other 3 much lesser-injured.

No one else was hurt.


The other crash was reported around 4:35 a.m. on I-435 southbound near the Sni-A-Bar overpass.


Reportedly a motorcyclist was killed here- and southbound I-435 south of I-70 was closed.


Further details on this and the earlier crash are pending.
