BREAKING NEWS: Fatality Crash in East Kansas City MO

KCPD is investigating what they initially reported at 1:50 am as "a hit and run" crash "involving a motorcycle" on westbound 23rd Street Trafficway just west of Blue Ridge Boulevard.

This is just past the southern border of Blue Summit.

Police reported the "male" cycle driver "was lying in the road-" and was declared dead on the scene.

There is no information regarding a possible "hit and run" suspect vehicle.

BREAKING NEWS: Two Shot Dead in Old Northeast Kansas City MO

KC-MO Police are investigating a double-fatal shooting scene in the 4800 block of E. Independence Avenue early Saturday morning.

Police and Fire/EMS were called to the scene beginning around 12:09 am..

Two minutes later- an officer confirmed "two" victims who died at the scene.


Suspects info heard was "two males- one Hispanic- one white-" who left eastbound on 'The Avenue' in a "blue- possibly Chevy Impala- 2010 model."
