A man carjacked a Jeep in Topeka early today- taking a woman and a child inside the vehicle with him before they were dropped-off unharmed.
The TOPEKA (KS) CAPITAL-JOURNAL reports the incident happened around 6:50 a.m. on that city's east side- near Southeast 4th and California Streets when a Hispanic male with a gun broke one of the Jeep's windows and forced his way inside.
Two occupants of that Jeep- a woman and a child- were driven about a mile by the carjacker before they were released uninjured.
