CSW BREAKING: Two Shot in KC-MO "Rolling Disturbance"

The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning on the Independence/Winner Road viaduct over the Big Blue river and the old Armco Steel plant.

What police termed as "a rolling disturbance" between 2 vehicles on the bridge resulted in one of the vehicles that was being shot at crashing.

KC-MO PD reports 2 people in the crashed vehicle and both victims had been "shot in the head."

One victim was reported by MAST-EMS as "a 40-year-old male passenger" with a "single gunshot to the head" and minor injuries from the crash itself.

His injuries didn't appear to be immediately life-threatening.

The second victim- the male driver of the crashed car- had a critical-injury head wound.

Both were taken to separate Metro hospitals.

Police are seeking the other vehicle: "a red car containing 2 white males" who sped eastbound on the viaduct and determining the circumstances of the "rolling disturbance."
