Phillip D. Martin- suspect in a really cruel and senseless murder of 7-11 clerk Gurpreet "Tony" Singh- is reported to be IN jail this Tuesday morning.
KC-MO Police took Martin into custody last night around 11:15 p.m. at 13th Street and Cleveland in near-Northeast KC-MO..
We're waiting for police to also nab Martin's accomplice- but at least the murderer of Mr. Singh is off the streets.
Services for the slain Mr. Singh- father of 2 children and working TWO jobs to support them- have been set by the family:
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Langsford Funeral Homes at 115 SW Third Street in Lee's Summit.
Services for Mr. Singh are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Midwest Sikh Association, 6834 Pflumm Road in Shawnee..
