This call came in right at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon: a reported fire in a structure at a farm equipment company at 57th Street and State Avenue.
The fire was actually in a "1-story abandoned house" on the business's property closer to the 5800 block of State- firefighters found the fire had already consumed and collapsed the roof as they set up water streams outside the burning structure to keep flames from reaching any exposures.
No injuries are reported and the fire is not yet under control as of this post....
