'Reality' Television at It's Best: Rescue of the Trapped Chilean Miners

The continuing live coverage of the rescue of the 33 trapped Chilean miners is- without a doubt one of the most emotional news events I've seen in recent memory.

To see each person return to the surface and into the arms of their family and friends is emotional to the point I've had to kind-of choke back tears each time a miner is brought up.

I won't TOTALLY celebrate until ALL the trapped miners return to the surface- but look what can happen WHEN THE ENTIRE WORLD COMES TOGETHER FOR SOMETHING GOOD.


That in itself is emotional and inspiring


UPDATE- 1955 CDT - The last of the trapped miners is now on the surface.
