Central States News: Police Shoot At TV News Videographer in Des Moines IA

The DES MOINES (IA) REGISTER says a videographer from KCCI-TV in Des Moines was "accidentally" shot at by a police officer when the officer responded to the station on a suspicious person call.

Reportedly- the cop mistook the videographer's cellphone for a gun.


The videographer was not hit- and The REGISTER reports that other officers nabbed the actual suspicious person- who was throwing rocks at vehicles in the KCCI parking lot.
