The third time was a charm finding a one-vehicle rollover crash Saturday morning in KC-MO around Swope Park.
The first call for this incident was to 67th Street and Richmond at 2:07 a.m..- nothing was found.
The next call was at 2:08 a.m. to the 4400 block of East 63rd Street and nothing was found there either.
By 2:16 a.m.- the crash had been located- east of Lewis Road on "Wildcat Hollow Road-" also 67th Street.
There police- fire and EMS crews found a vehicle that was "about 25 feet off the road- and 10-12 feet down a ravine and on it's top."
Fire crews spent about the next 20 minutes extricating the male driver from the vehicle and into the ambulance via a "Stokes basket."
The "approximately 30-year-old" man was taken to a Kansas City medical trauma center with critical head and other injuries.
The fire and EMS crews estimated the man was going "about 40-50 miles per hour" when he left the roadway.
