A KC-MO Fire department pumper and an EMS crew had been called at 2:36 a.m. Sunday morning to "510 Westport Road" where it reported "Westport security" officers were with an "unconscious" male who was "lying on the sidewalk in front of America's Pub."
That male was transported to an area hospital "with a wound to the back of his head-" possible intoxication and in very critical condition with "C.P.R. in-progress."
The man remained unresponsive since he was taken to a Metro medical trauma center- where he has died of his injuries- reports the KC-MO Police department.
Police are asking anyone with information about how exactly this man was hurt call the KC-MO Police department.
