One Dead- Four Injured in Overnight KC-MO Shootings

Three shooting scenes have left a total of one dead and four injured- 2 of those critically- in KC-MO..


The first shooting was reported at 12:35 a.m. Sunday morning near the intersection of 73rd Street and Bellfountaine.


There police and EMS crews found a male in his 40's who had been shot in the buttocks.  The only suspect information was that the shooter was "in a green car."

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.


The next shooting- reported at 1:33 a.m. in the 3000 block of East 12th Street was the homicide.


Police arrived a few minutes after the call was dispatched to find a female lying in a parking lot dead from gunshot wounds. 

Police soon learn that another gunshot victim from this incident- a man- was "critically-injured" and was driven by someone to a hospital.

There was no suspect information whatsoever in this incident.


Just before 3 a.m.- 2 young men were shot in a S.U.V. by one of 4 indivduals in "a newer-model black S.U.V." near the Town Topic at 2021 Broadway.


One of the victims- said by EMS to be "26-years-old" had been shot "3 times in the abdomen" and was rushed to a nearby medical trauma center in serious to critical condition.

The 2nd man was shot in a leg- and his injuries were not immediately life-threatening.
