CSW BREAKING: Vehicles Burning in KC-MO Hospital Hill-area Parking Garage



Five companies of the KC-MO Fire department are currently fighting a fire in vehicles parked in a multi-level parking garage next to Truman Medical Center on Hospital Hill.

The alarm sounded at 8:30 a.m. for the fire at "825 East 24th Street" and the first-arriving fire unit reported "heavy smoke showing from the top floor" of that facility at 8:33 a.m..

Fire command reports "2" vehicles are burning- and firefighters have had to extend the ladder on one of their aerial trucks to reach the fire- as well as feeding water to the garage's sprinkler system.

No word on any injuries as of this post- but the fire's reported under control at 8:44 a.m..
