It's been a bad 'Ides of March' Monday for Missouri children in home fires after 1 child died in KC-MO earlier today.
This fatal fire is reported by The SPRINGFIELD (MO) NEWS-LEADER: A 2-story house in the 1700 block of West Olive in that southern Missouri city caught fire around 4:30 a.m..

The mother and father made it out okay- but 2 children were killed in the fire with another child and the grandfather critically-injured.
The 3rd child later died at a Springfield hospital.
The cause of that fatal fire is under investigation.
