KANSAS CITY'S WEATHER: NWS-SPC: Slight Severe Storm Risk Sunday

You can see by the map of the latest "Day-2 Convective Outlook (AC)" by the Storm Prediction Center that the "slight risk" severe storm area forecast for Sunday runs from around Kansas City northward into the northern Plains- upper Mississippi River valley and extreme western Great Lakes into southern Canada.
All present model forecasts indicate any thunderstorms at all Sunday in the Kansas City MetroRegion will be scattered in coverage- but could fast become severe in intensity.
