About 5 minutes later - EMS reports that person D.O.A.. While probably a death from natural causes- police are investigating nonetheless.

** Tonganoxie, KS. Incident Overcomes Four - Including 2 Children **
...The call came into the newscenter at nine minutes after midnight Sunday morning - "a strong odor coming from the house" in the 900 block of Shawnee in that southwestern Leavenworth County, KS. community.
When fire units arrived - the find & report "3" then "4" people overcome by the unidentified "odor." Among those overcome were "a 3 and a 5-year-old."
None of those overcome are heard transported to any medical facility and the source & type of the "odor" is never reported.

*Police Investigate Liberty.MO. Playground Fire*
Liberty fire units responded to a call of "playground equipment on fire" at "Park Lane & Wellington Way" during the midnight hour.
A police officer who responded ordered a detective and said "2 white males were seen walking in the area" of the incident.

<><><>OVERNIGHT WEATHER<><><>
Skies were variably cloudy overnight with light winds from the west-northwest and temperatures that fell into the upper 50's by dawn.
We'll get a few days to dry out - then more showers and thunderstorms move into the K.C. MetroRegion by late week. There could be severe weather with the storms by Friday and - with a frontal system stalling in the area early next weekend - increasing chances for more heavy rains and possibly flooding problems.
Temperatures will again remain around normal for early June or maybe a bit above normal until late week - highs in the 80's with lows in the 60's.
