*Large Garage Fire Investigated in KC-MO Northland*

... It was 5:42 am when a KC-MO Fire department investigator driving north on the Chouteau bridge reported to a dispatcher "a large column of smoke" north of him.

A minute later- five KC-MO Fire companies are rolled to a that fire in what resulted to be a large garage in the rear of a house in the 3100 block of Northeast 39th Street.
No injuries were reported- but the structure appears to be nearly a total loss.

* Wakarusa Music Festival Fine (Watch The Brown Acid) *

...People seem to be behaving themselves (surrounded by law enforcement)- at least on the overnight watch- at Clinton Lake's annual Wakarusa Music Festival.

One male in his 20's was transported by Douglas County KS. EMS to a hospital in Lawrence early Saturday morning for a bad acid (LSD) trip- but that was the only medical problem I heard took such a trip- so to speak.
