Either the Allies or Hitler would prevail as thousands of troops stormed onto the beaches of Northern France.

A very important day in the Free World today is - the contract of our freedom was signed in blood by those brave soldiers that died 63 years ago.

Australia - Belgium - Canada - France - Belgium- Netherlands - United Kingdom, - United States and all free nations of the world - please take a moment of your day today for silent thanks.

Those we freed under Axis rule - please remember those countries above did not defeat you - they liberated you.
