House Fire in the Kansas City MO Northland


Five companies of the KC-MO Fire department have brought flames in a lived-in house in the Northland under control.


The alarm sounded at 10:52 a.m. for an address in the 6000 block of North Drury.


When Pumper 34 arrived on the scene at 10:57 a.m.- they report "heavy smoke showing from a 2-story" structure- and pulled a 1-3/4-inch handline to the front door.

The fire- reported in "a back bedroom" of the house- was controlled by 11:02 a.m..


Nobody has been reported hurt in the fire- and the cause is under investigation.
