Photography- to me- was just a casual hobby (along with music- the study of weather- etc.) but I took the endeavor seriously as a visual documentation of history- be it personal or general.
The LINCOLN (NE) JOURNAL-STAR tells of the passing of Dick Blomgren who was Lincoln's 'visual documentator' for many years.
The accompanying photo- taken by Mr. Blomgren in the mid to late 1950's- is courtesy of both "JMJ Inspirations" and The J-S- and shows a young musician named Johnny Cash along with an unidentified store clerk and the owner of a Lincoln department store.
