An 'Operation-100' was called in the area of 25th Street and Drury just before 2 a.m. and officers surrounded the residence and attempted to communicate with the man who police report "was under the influence" of an unstated substance.
Just after 3 a.m.- the officers reported hearing a gunshot inside the house and when they went inside- found the man dead of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The man has yet to be identified by KC-MO Police.
