Referring to the National Weather Service-Storm Prediction Center's (NWS-SPC) image- slightly more than the southern half of the MetroRegion is included in a slight risk of severe thunderstorm today through early Tuesday morning.

The primary severe threats will be large hail and wind gusts to severe criteria or 58 MPH..

Another threat may be heavy rains causing local flash flooding- but that is not of great concern at this time due to the forecasted pregressive movement of any strong/severe storms that do occur.
