The BETHANY (MO) REPUBLICAN-CLIPPER reports that Gilman City fire crews responded to the call about 1 a.m. Saturday morning to the house located on Klondike Road- about 12 miles east of Bethany.
The house was heavily-involved in flames- and Gilman City called for assistance from Bethany- North Harrison and Cainsville fire crews.
The REPUBLICAN-CLIPPER says a man- woman and a child was injured- and taken to Kansas City-area hospitals.
The child's injuries were described as "very serious" and the child was flown by medical helicopter to Children's Mercy Hospital.
The body of a teen-aged member of the family who died in the fire was found about noon today.
The cause of the inferno was under investigation.
