MetroRegion K.C. News: Marshall MO Already At or Near January Snowfall Record


With a minor snowfall expected today and a more-significant storm expected this weekend- Marshall is at or near a record snowfall total for the month of January- states this story in the MARSHALL (MO) DEMOCRAT NEWS.


The previous Marshall record for January was in 1977- when 14-inches fell.


Marshall's all-time seasonal snowfall record was set in 1948-49- when more than 32-inches fell in that central Saline county city.
