A critically-injured shooting victim arrived at Research Medical Center's E-R just before 3:45 a.m. this morning- and that victim has possibly died of their wounds.
The yet-unidentified person was reportedly shot while walking along the west side of Prospect Avenue around 69th Street- and there isn't any suspect information being issued by KC-MO Police.
There's also the report of another homicide in the 6200 block of East 11th Street around 1 a.m. this Saturday morning.
This would be KC-MO's 5th and 6th homicides of 2011....
Fire gutted a house in Independence MO just before 1 a.m. in the 700 block of Dickenson Road.
No injuries were reported and there are as yet no other details available.
Another fire was reported in a house in rural Buchanan county MO around 11 p.m. Friday night.
Dearborn firefighters assisted Faucett crews at that blaze in the 3100 block of Southeast McQueen Road with no other information on that fire.
