State of Kansas Gets Nearly $3-Million For Mortgage Holders Conned By Banks

If you or I are found guilty of illegal or unethical dealings- we're jailed.

If you are a financial institution like a bank- the directors NEVER see a jail cell: they can simply buy their way out of the mess (usually with the bank depositor's money too).

The DODGE CITY GLOBE reports that the Wells Fargo bank- who in 2008 acquired those shady mortage lenders Wachovia Corporation and Golden West Corporation- has settled with the State of Kansas in regards to those shaky mortage dealings to the tune of $2.8-million.

"Close to 500 Kansans will benefit" from the settlement- said The D.C. GLOBE.
