CSW BREAKING-EXCLUSIVE: Blue Springs MO Fire Crews Respond to Building Fire - At One Of Their Own Fire Stations

The only thing worse for a firefighter than having to go back and put out a fire you thought you'd already extinguished is responding to a fire call at YOUR OWN fire station.

Such is what happened at 1:42 p.m. Friday afternoon when an alarm went out to four companies of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District (CJCFPD) to respond to a reported fire in their own Fire Station Number 3 at 803 Northeast Jefferson Street.

A medical helicopter (LifeFlight) is also stationed there.

It was reported to be "a small fire- in the lobby" of the fire station that was quickly doused- and the damage estimate or cause of the fire wasn't yet available from the CJCFD.

At least no one was hurt.
