It's an annual ritual for many hunters in the Kansas City MetroRegion and it begins one-half hour before sunrise Saturday morning.
Many will take the trip today to their favorite hunting grounds and for many area hunters- that area is northern and northwestern Missouri- according to this story in the MARYVILLE (MO) DAILY FORUM.
The hunting weather should be good through at least early Sunday. The firearm season extends to Thanksgiving week: one-half hour after sunset on Tuesday- November 24.
