CSW WEATHER: Chance of More Severe Storms- Flooding Rains- Over The Central States Today- Monday

Metro Kansas City will continue to have a "slight" risk of severe thunderstorms again today and Monday.

There is a "moderate" risk of thunderstorms to our northwest- over most of Nebraska (NE) except the Panhandle- western and southwestern Iowa (IA) and a small part of northwest Missouri (MO) and northeastern Kansas (KS).

In addition to severe storms is the risk for excessive rainfalls- further affecting the present Missouri River flooding.

On Monday- that moderate risk of severe storms moves east covering virtually all of IA except the east & southeast- extreme southeast South Dakota (SD) and southern Minnesota (MN).

Again there'll be a risk of excessive rainfalls in some areas.

The storm system will sweep eastward into the eastern Central States- MO and Arkansas (AR) on Tuesday.

Wednesday- Thursday and hopefully Friday should be nice days around here finally.
