CSW WEATHER: Tornado Watch No. 516 Includes Part Of Metro- MetroRegion Kansas City
The NWS' Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued Tornado Watch No. 516 valid until 2 a.m. Monday morning.
The watch covers a large portion of northern and northeastern Kansas (KS)- northwestern- northern- western and central Missouri (MO)- southeastern Nebraska (NE) and extreme southwestern and southern Iowa (IA).
Metro counties included are all counties north of Johnson and Douglas in KS- Jackson and Lafayette in MO..
No Metro/Metroregion counties south of those listed are included in this tornado watch.
Thunderstorms are already developing in central Kansas- and this activity will increase in intensity and coverage throughout Sunday evening and night.
PLEASE keep tune to the latest warnings- when issued- on televsion or NOAA weather and/o commercial radio.
