Missouri River Flood of 2011- Upper Missouri Reservoir Readings for June 19


Heavy rains along the middle Missouri River valley brought the Missouri up from 1 to 2 feet overnight south of Omaha to the St. Joseph MO areas.


There were more levee failures/overtoppings in Atchison and Holt counties Missouri early Sunday morning- and National Weather Service (NWS) Flash Flood warnings were in effect.

Additional heavy rains over these same areas are expected later today through late Monday....
