Unsupervised Youths Almost Set House On Fire in KC-MO

K
C-MO firefighters have ordered police to the scene of a house fire in the Ruskin Heights area of southeastern KC-MO..

Fire crews were called at 10:16 a.m. Labor Day morning to "a kitchen fire" in a residence in the 7700 block of East 112th Terrace.

According to FD reports- "5" youths in the house- ages "14 and under- with no adult supervision" tried to cook something- and the stove-top fire got out of hand.

The damage itself was fairly minor- but a fire official on-scene requested police to come deal with those unsupervised youths at the residence.
