Parts of Topeka KS Hit By Electrical Power Failure

estar Energy says "about 3600 homes and businesses" lost power this morning in "east and southeast Topeka" when "a squirrel" got into the company's electrical transmission equipment- states The TOPEKA (KS) CAPITOL-JOURNAL.


All power was reportedly "restored" in the past few hours.

Fortunately- winds were light with temperatures in the low to middle-30's.
