Westar Energy says "about 3600 homes and businesses" lost power this morning in "east and southeast Topeka" when "a squirrel" got into the company's electrical transmission equipment- states The TOPEKA (KS) CAPITOL-JOURNAL.
All power was reportedly "restored" in the past few hours.
Fortunately- winds were light with temperatures in the low to middle-30's.
