Colorado Springs Residents Face Severe Cuts With Tax Rejection

n November- residents of this southern Colorado city rejected tripling their property tax to offset city budgetary concerns.




Now- according to The DENVER (CO) POST- Colorado Springs city officials say there will be a variety of draconian cuts: from turning off of streetlights and removal of trash cans from city parks to layoffs and not filling open police and firefighter positions.
