CSW BREAKING: Three Fire Departments Battle Blue Springs MO House Fire



A story and a half residence in southern Blue Springs is going up in flames at this time.


The fire's in the 4600 block of Southwest 10th Street in far south Blue Springs and the Central Jackson County (CJC) and Prairie Township fire districts responded on the initial alarm at 8:53 pm Thursday night.

The Prairie Township pumper reported "flames visible from (M) 7 highway" two minutes before their arrival on the scene of the fire at 9:01 pm..

Additional companies from CJC and the Lake Lotawana fire districts have been sent to the scene.

There are no word of the occupancy status of the burning house nor if indeed anyone is inside yet.

The fire is reported to be "knocked down" at 9:27 pm according to the Prairie Township fire chief who is scene commander.

At 9:34 pm- an injury is reported on the scene by a CJC district chief.
