Fire equipment from Kearney- Holt and Excelsior Springs is either on-scene or enroute to a house fire at (Northeast) 172nd Street and Jackson Avenue north of Kearney.
The alarm was broadcast at 1:15 pm and when the first fire unit arrived 4 minutes later- smoke was seen pouring from the "rear" of the "single-story" home.
The fire reportedly started in the basement of the residence and "all occupants" reportedly escaped without injury.
Mutual-aid assistance has been sent from the Holt and Excelsior Springs fire departments.
