K.U. Medical Center is "closed to trauma" patients again this morning. KU/MC was also closed to trauma most of yesterday morning too.
There isn't a trauma center open in all of Wyandotte County - more than 150000 people...
No problem yesterday morning- but this morning Truman Medical Center on Hospital Hill just received a victim of a double-dose penetrating-trauma (gunshot) from KC-KS Fire-EMS.
Another shooting north of Westport too.
Fifteen in-service MAST-EMS paramedic units logged covering nearly a half-million people- and they been movin' 'round too.
