AOL-Time Warner To Pay For Crappy Customer Service

Many know somebody who has gone through the AOL account cancellation nighmare over the past year or so.

A number of them I know won't do business with Time-Warner- let alone AOL- to this day because of the nightmare they had to go through to cancel their AOL accounts.

AOL-Time Warner has agreed to pay the states who were suing them $3-million and reemburse people still charged for things after they cancelled their service (AT&T's good for that one too) among other changes.

Of course- today's settlement song and dance when AOL-T-W says they "didn't acknowledge any wrongdoing in the settlement."

Yeah- right....

Next- we'll attack local company SPRINT for cancelling people "who complained too much."
