Emergency Dispatchers Led To Lake Tahoe Fire Spread

Incredibly- at least 2 callers had reported the fire to 9-1-1 dispatchers in the area- but the dispatchers blew off the callers by telling them the smoke was from an unrelated "controlled burn."

The fire eventually burned 3100 acres- 264 homes and cost more than $12-million to extinguish.
