Kansas City MetroRegion Weather Update: Storm Chances Diminishing

As you can see by the radar image below- all the strong thunderstorms developed south of the KC Metro and continue moving southeast.

There are no watches or warnings in effect for the 50-mile radius of Downtown K.C. MetroRegion.

The actual cold front is moving over Metro KC now- with only widely scattered activity in the Metro counties.
There is one heavy storm cell over and south of Richmond and a lesser-intensity cell in far southeastern JoCo-KS..

Earlier- one moderate cell developed north of Gladstone-MO- but died out as it passed south along the I-435 corridor.

Metro KC should be precip-free after 7 pm and at least two very pleasant summer days ahead.
