KANSAS CITY WEATHER UPDATE: No Severe Storms - Maybe None At All

That's the way it's looking.

Although the radar image below shows showers and a few thunderstorms upstream or northwest of the KC Metro- this activity has been weakening now that the sun has set.
In addition- the latest NWS-SPC severe storm outlook has pushed the slight-risk area westward into Kansas- Topeka's on the eastern boundary.

All the stronger storms appear they'll miss Topeka too.

It will no doubt rain enough here in south KC-MO to get dirt spots on the vehicle I washed yesterday- but not much help for the tomato plants.
