According to the NWS- the Kansas City Metro and MetroRegion should see October weather close to the norms with average temperatures and precipitation forecast.
The warmest temperatures are forecast for the Intermountain West and heaviest precipation forecast over the Gulf states and the Desert Southwest.
It's forecast to be dry again in the Pacific Northwest in October.
