Blame of K-10 Double-Fatality Crash Shifted To Other Driver

T
he Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) has changed the circumstances of the August 12 head-on crash on K-10 west of DeSoto.

According to the Topeka CAPITOL-JOURNAL- the KHP now says it was 20-year-old Eric Sill who was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of K-10 east of Evening Star Road early that fateful Saturday.

Originally- the KHP had assigned the fault of the crash to the other driver- 26-year-old Kara Morgan. The KHP correction exonerates Ms. Morgan.

The Topeka C-J article does not mention how or why the KHP messed-up the original accident report.
