Metro Kansas City's BREAKING NEWS: Two-Alarm House Fire In Olathe-KS

t 11:55 am- a 2nd-alarm was sounded for a house fire already in progress in the 26200 block of West 111th Terrace in Olathe's Cedar Creek subdivision.



The original alarm was sounded shortly after 11:45 am- and smoke was visible to the first responding fire companies from their stations.


The house was determined to be empty of any occupants and the fire was reported under control at 1:25 pm..

It's believed lightning was the possible cause of the fire that heavily-damaged the roof and attic of the 2-story residence with heavy smoke and water damage elsewhere.
