Metro Kansas City's BREAKING NEWS: Olathe-KS House Fire

A house of yet-unknown occupany is burning in East Olathe- in the 2000 block of East Jamestown Drive.

Five companies of Olathe firefighters were called out at 10:31am to the address- firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof and attic areas.

Thus far no reports of anybody found inside as OFD battles this blaze in 7-degree weather..

UPDATE: There were no reports of injuries 30 minutes into the fire- which was generally under control.

The homeowner apparently arrived about 20 minutes into the fire as police asked the FD chief if the owner could come see their house.
