KC-MO Council Gives Away $20.5-Million

They say if you live long enough- there is nothing new under the Sun.

I guess I've lived long enough.

Kansas City-MO- like many cities and governments across the UCSA (United Corporate States of America) is hurting financially.

To the tune of a $90-million shortfall it's reported.

Yet incredibly- Thursday the KC-MO council APPROVED $20.5-million in corporate welfare to finally build the "high-risk"* Citadel Plaza project.

You can mark these words: Within 5 years or so- the Citadel Plaza retail will be as dead as that other subsidized strip center at 31st Street & Prospect. And the taxpayers of Kansas City-MO will be on the hook to pay for it all.

Remember this $20.5-million handout when the City Council wants to charge city residents for trash pickup- etc..

The City will bilk us TWICE with that....
